It started on Friday nights in Derby, Kansas.
Dylan Edwards made the varsity team at Derby High as a freshman and played in every game. He scored in all of them but one, and that includes the state championship. By sophomore year he was the lead back. By the end of junior year he had 2,603 yards, 38 touchdowns, a trip to the 6A title game, and the Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year award. More than twenty schools came calling.
Then the road got longer.
Colorado came first, where he caught three touchdown passes in his debut as a true freshman. Then home, to Kansas State, where he ran for 196 yards and three scores in a 44-41 Rate Bowl comeback. Then an ankle injury took most of the 2025 season away. Some people would call that a setback. Dylan kept moving.
Today he's carrying the ball for Kansas, with two seasons of eligibility left and plenty of ground to cover.
That's what Run Dylan Run is about. Football players don't get to pick the hits that come. They pick what happens next. They get up, line up, and go again.
